It’s really good to be back from the break I took, and even better to have been missed! :D

I needed some time away while work and offline stuff was piling up on me, but now I plan to be here, keeping you all well stocked with my own blend of reblogs and posts for your delectation!

Nice! We just reached 10,000 posts :D

I just thought I’d share the milestone 10,000th post as it whizzes by, and take the opportunity to thank all of you that follow along, and especially those who have sent me comments and questions about my blog - it’s a real encouragement to keep doing this, so thank you all! xXx

They call it ‘Self-Radicalisation’, like independant thought and criticism of the Government is somehow abhorrant. In this day and age, when Government is run “by the Corporations, for the Corporations”, when the people are the ‘product’ - nothing more than a source of wealth for the wealthy, it’s downright necessary.

I’m not sure how much I believe the Envoy service is real - the concept has been featured in so many sci-fi plotlines. I guess we’ll see come July 2011!

It does make me think about the old adage about public technology lagging about ten years behind military technology though… I wonder how many Facebook users are already just government-run computer program clicking away, reporting ‘news on the ground’ in places like Libya and Egypt, gathering info on certain social circles, whipping up support for certain political parties.

How about you? Would you use a service like this for your loved ones, or is it just way too creepy?
